I am totally against this private soccer field. LP is for the city and it's residents, and I don't waive my green space for something that takes away from the community it serves. The Latin school can play soccer in the park just like everyone else. There is no need for a special stadium that can't be used by the rest of us, in our park. Softball teams use this area all summer long, where will they go. Not to mention the congestion that such a facility will add to limited parking at the park already. NO NO NO.

I strongly oppose this use of Lincoln Park space.

you need to add a link for the petition on your site so we can print it off and pass it around. I went to the mtg and they said I could get the petition from this site.

Thanks for the note about the print petition. I've put it up on the menu so you can download it directly from the front page (look for "New! Print petition"). Thanks for your offer of help. A lot of us are doing all we can to put a stop to it. Everyone who wants to keep Lincoln Park public should consider what they can do to contribute. If some of you others can't provide us with physical help, we certainly need $50 and $100 contributions right away, for the legal fund. Does that sound like a lot of money to do your part to help put a stop to this?

thank you for doing what you're doing, we need to keep LP open for public use
